Annapolis Community Boating

Annapolis Community Boating is a 501©3 organization dedicated to creating safe, fun and educational on-the-water opportunities for the entire community. Annapolis Community Boating is constantly putting programs together for giving people access to the water including:

Introductory Sailing Lessons
ACB has beginning sailing lessons for everyone. Utilizing the Tanzer 22 fleet there are opportunities to learn to sail, practice sailing and take day sailing trips. Every Monday – Thursday evening the sail boats are available for open boating. There are weekend, week day and evening sailing lesson times.

Paddling Events
Everyday there are opportunities to explore the waters around Anne Arundel Co on our fleet of kayaks, canoes and paddleboards. The fleet will be available from the Ellen Moyer Nature Park for open boating and specialty events. The travel trailer will explore various put in areas in the county.

Family Group Opportunities
Do you belong to a group and want to create a boating day for them? Do you want to have a birthday party as a boating day? These are custom programs we can create to meet you needs.

Youth Summer Camps
ACB has a robust youth summer camp program for students ages 6-21. All the camps include exploring the bay, learning about the environment, practicing safe boating skills, interacting with the maritime industry, and having fun while learning how to use the boats in a safe manor
